This series is inspired by some of my students and their obstinate reliance on clichés in their storytelling. Conflict is reduced to fighting and the motivation, rather than being organic and growing out of character, is imposed on them through a limited arsenal of ready-made storyforms. In bringing these motivations to the surface, I am inspired by Frank Capra's WWII propaganda.

One possible means of busting up the cliché is to collide it with another.
